How it All Began...Once up on a time there were two little girls, one tall and one small. They loved to wear hand-me-downs and play with scissors. They spent their days in the woods finding treasures to draw on and things to cut and sew together. Eventually, like all little girls must do, they grew up. They both chose professions that made them fidgety and cranky. Then one day they sat down together, picked up their scissors and started to draw and cut and create once again. This made them both very happy. Now, as Bella Sisters, they spend their days transforming things once old and unwanted into clever little creations for the grooviest to wear. All Bella Sisters artful creations are made from more than 97% recycled materials. Each piece is uniquely crafted using freeform, hand cut and intricately sewn appliqués from high quality reclaimed wool, lace, silk and batik. |
